A paddling friend and I were inspired to create our PaddleAway kayak touring experiences in 2008 and have been thrilled to introduce many new paddlers to the sport. It is gratifying to see someone go from being nervous and awkward about it to feeling competent and reveling in the experience over the course of a couple hours. I am definitely an addict, paddling all year long through our MI winters, but am pleased to have spring and summer upon us with more opportunities to paddle in glorious weather. Happy paddling!
