National Geographic recently released their top gear choices for the 2013 Spring/Summer and we’re proud to say that we carry four of these refined outdoor toys. These National Geographic designated “must-haves” include the following:

Big Agnes Fishook UL2 Tent – At less than four pounds, this two person, three season tent from Big Agnes employs a unique closure system that replaces normal zippers with hooks and loops. Take a look at this one if you are tired of your tent partner waking you up when they zip open a door to get outside. National Geographic says the “effect is like switching from a diesel engine to a hybrid”.

Columbia Omni-Freeze Zero Shirts - Columbia’s most recent Omni technology is designed to make you cooler in hot weather. Yes, that’s right – these fabrics absorb sweat and body heat to provide a cooling feeling. It’s a very unique technology  and we invite you to learn more by watching this video

Astral Brewer Water ShoeAstral’s first foray into the world of water shoes has been making a splash in the paddling world with unprecedented traction and comfort. We’re excited to see these popular shoes recognized by National Geographic as a must-have for the 2013 Spring/Summer! It is available in both men and women sizes.

Nemo Helio Portable Shower – Let this system absorb heat during the day then pressurize using the foot pump and enjoy 5 to 7 minutes of steady and satisfying water pressure. National Geographic says that “compared to what you’ve used before, [the Helio] will feel like the shower in a luxury hotel.”

Check out these unique products and see for yourself why they’ve been selected as the stuff you need to fully take advantage of the 2013 spring and summer seasons. Have experience with any of these products? We want to know! Just comment below.
