In 2011, friends Will Stauffer-Norris and Zak Podmore ventured from Wyoming’s Wind River Mountains to the Gulf of California in Mexico. The adventure took them 113 days and over 1,700 miles of hiking and paddling. You might have caught tidbits of their adventure in our blog video updates from the NRS series Remains of a River which culminated in a 50 minute documentary that examined their “at turns inspiring and alarming” journey from source to sea of the Colorado River.

For those that can’t spend nearly an hour watching their journey, the’ve edited the footage of the entire 113 day trip into a short 3.5 minute clip. So are you ready to paddle the entire Colorado? Just click play.
